Chris Ogunrinde

Arch. Abiodun Christian Ogunrinde, Chief Executive Officer – Urban Trends Real Estate Inc. is an Architect by training with 18 years of experience in the development of Master Planned Communities in the Southeastern Region of the U.S. UT is Chris’ vision and a lifelong desire to utilize his skills and talents to improve living conditions for the people of Africa. Chris is a founder and principal of Neighboring Concepts, a community planning, architectural and development firm located in Charlotte, NC. Through Neighboring Concepts, Chris has successfully created communities in the U.S. that have provided improved living standards in lower-income neighborhoods. Chris has served on various civic minded organizations in Charlotte, and very active in community service. To name but a few, Chris served on the board of Ujamma, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing home ownership awareness to all persons through education and counseling; and recently Chris helped organize the African Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in Charlotte to promote the image of Nigerian professionals in his community. Chris attended Southern University in Louisiana, where he earned a degree in Architecture in 1990. Chris was born in Owo, Nigeria and is an American citizen. Chris is an active member of Friendship Baptist Church. Chris is married to Chandra and has a daughter.
